Stonegable is a modern farmhouse nestled among pines and 150 acres of walking trails located just outside of Empire Village (2 miles) right in the middle of Leelanau farm country. You'll find yourself surrounded by cherry and apple orchards, hops farms and fields of sweet smelling hay. Fresh eggs can be purchased just down the driveway.
Stonegable has a new generator (2023) for storms. Runs everything but stove and microwave ( grill on site) . So you will have water, lights, hot water heater for showers, refrigerator. and heat in the event of a storm that results in a loss of power. Very few rental properties in Empire or northern Michigan have a generator back up plan which can save a vacation.

Area is perfect for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking or just lying on the beach. There are boat launches nearby for both Lake Michigan and South Bar Lake. Only 8 miles to Glen Arbor and 25 minutes to Traverse City.
